Why don't you quit and find someplace closer to commute to, or why don't you move closer to work?? - I like my house...you should look at investing, it's a buyers market Lee. Nuclear energy is safe and clean, huh?- Yes, it is. I suppose you have a few tons of leftover radioactive wastes stored in your living room? - Now that's just crazy talk, you silly. God is Love, Love is Blind, Ray Charles is Blind, Ray Charles is...OMG Ray Charles is GOD. There God is proven Lee, nothing to worry about with that logic, eh?

misterfifteen wrote: Don't they have a lineup coming up called "Planet Green"-YES an entire channel and website which is allegedly about saving the planet by buying more 'green' products and recycling??? No it's creating and acquiring content about helping people understand that there are ways to help keep the planet green... which is a philosophy that you don't subscribe to, Discovery does. You might not believe that it works, which it may, or may not....time will tell. This leads me to point out your hypocrisy, Discovery is subscribing to a philosophical belief, not unlike you, and hoping this will help the communities of the world be more responsible about the world around them, also not unlike you. However, they are doing this by distributing content based on real tested theories (reduce emissions, less energy consumption etc), which is nothing like you. You go off and exploit a writers philosophy based off nothing more than his imagination. Remember, Quinn is not regarded as a leader or brilliant researcher or scientist...hell, his writing isn't even that good. This is my whole argument, that they aren't at all interested in saving the planet LIKE THEY ALREADY CLAIM THEY ARE! I would love to see some proof on that claim...and I am asking for what? A 3rd maybe 4th time? Yeah... just because you say that doesn't make it true. They are only interested in more bullshit products Actually, they don't care about manufacturing products, they care about advertising and affiliate dollars. They don't give a good goddamn where the money comes from as long as it's legal. You actually would have done more good to put up your own commercials about Quinn instead of this lonely protest you are putting together. and increasing the population in order to sell those products. You again have no proof, and the burden of proof is on you unfortuantley, you are the accuser dummy. That's how a product-oriented society works. WHA WHA...Lee, the spoiled little rich doesn't like capitalism, but Lee is more than happy to live in the country that capitalism is the basis for. The more products you make, the more customers you must make in order to have buyers. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Okay, remeber 100 level Philosophy, Science and now Economics...You can't get anything right. Actually saving the planet might mean a loss in sales. - Moron Here are some of their bullshit solutions to 'saving the planet': 25) Get a reel (human-powered) lawn mower - Reduces emissions from a once combustable engine 24) Compost your garbage - allows you to avoid filling up land fills 23) Buy clothes and other linens made from organic cotton. Uses nature and fibers that can be grown in a controlled environment without the use of pesticides, etc... 22) Ride a bicycle. - See 25 21) Use eco-friendly household cleaners. - Reduces CFCs, hence reduces the amount of greenhouse gases These ARE JUST SALES ADS- Believe me, they aren't sales ads, I don't think Discovery wants get into the manufacturing business not REAL SOLUTIONS! They could be the solution is everyone does it over a period of time.

What sense does it make to 'reduce emissions', but at the same time, encourage population increases and therefore usage? 2) Obviously, these 'solutions' are NOT WORKING. I'm repeating myself to you over and over again. We don't have the 'time' to see if buying and using a hand-powered lawnmower is going to save the planet. I can tell you right now, it WON'T! 3) Yes, for the hundreth time, Discovery is already claiming to save the planet. Do you even watch their shows? Do you know what "10 Ways To Save The Planet" means? It seems like to them, if everyone follows these 10 steps, planet saved. But is it really? 4) Encouraging the growth of the population does lead to more customers. If the population was not increasing, we would see civilization reversing. Schools would be closing, toy companies becoming smaller, the economy shrinking, and the planet being saved, so encouraging growth makes the economy grow and and increase in products being made and sold, causing stresses on the environment that are not 'made up' by using a few green products. WOW am I hung over today which means I am cranky and may come off mean... GOOD!!! You have proven to me that you can't make an intelligent argument. I am truly done... I am admitting myself to Lee rehab. I am going to have to join "Lee's Posts Anonymous." And another thing, you jackass, technology is a good thing...you don't like it, go live somewhere else. Discovery is not going to change their programming for a piss ant like you, they are a good channel and people who can think, juxtapose, rationalize and learn will continue to watch their excellent programming for years to come while you will fade away into a deeper level of self imposed obscurity over the next couple of weeks. I tried, I really did try to hear your side, but nah, you prefer obfuscation and rants. You really need to get laid; maybe intimacy with another person can help you through this and hopefully that person will talk some sense into you. Then again you probably have already made it perfectly normal to believe that intimacy leads to sex, which leads to procreation, which leads to more products, and more products means that Galactus will come and gobble us all up becuase we are not fixing this alleged catastrophe fast enough for Lee. Now back to the show... on the Miltary Channel. I love me some future weapons.
